Welcome to Polymarket (thepolymarket.gr.com). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Polymarket decentralized prediction market platform (“Platform”) and all related services provided by us. By accessing or using Polymarket, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Polymarket at thepolymarket.gr.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies referenced herein. If you are using Polymarket on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use Polymarket.
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
- Use of Polymarket is prohibited in jurisdictions where decentralized prediction markets or online betting are restricted or illegal. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Polymarket complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
3. Platform Description
Polymarket is a decentralized, blockchain-based prediction market platform that allows users to create, participate in, and resolve markets on the outcomes of real-world events. Users connect compatible blockchain wallets to interact with the Platform, place bets, and receive payouts based on event outcomes. Polymarket does not control, guarantee, or warrant the outcome of any event or the accuracy of any information provided by market creators or participants.
4. User Accounts and Wallets
- To access certain features of Polymarket, you must connect a supported blockchain wallet. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and any associated private keys or seed phrases.
- Polymarket does not have access to or control over user wallets. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your wallet connection.
- If you lose access to your wallet, Polymarket cannot assist in recovery of your assets or access.
5. User Responsibilities
- You agree to use Polymarket only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You shall not use Polymarket to engage in fraud, money laundering, market manipulation, or any illegal activity.
- You are responsible for verifying the legality of your participation in prediction markets in your jurisdiction.
- You must not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the integrity or security of Polymarket or its underlying blockchain protocols.
6. Market Creation and Participation
- Users may create and participate in markets on real-world events, subject to Polymarket’s guidelines and applicable laws.
- Market creators are responsible for accurately describing events and outcomes. Misleading or fraudulent markets are strictly prohibited.
- Polymarket reserves the right to remove, suspend, or resolve markets at its sole discretion in cases of fraud, error, or legal violation.
- All bets are final and irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
7. Blockchain Transactions and Fees
- All transactions on Polymarket are conducted via smart contracts on supported blockchain networks.
- You are solely responsible for paying any network (gas) fees associated with your transactions.
- Polymarket does not guarantee the successful execution of blockchain transactions and is not liable for any losses due to network congestion, failures, or errors.
8. Risk Disclosure
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Participation in prediction markets involves significant financial risk and you may lose some or all of your wagered assets.
- Blockchain technology is experimental and subject to risks such as bugs, exploits, and regulatory uncertainty.
- Polymarket does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. You should consult with professional advisors before participating.
- Outcomes may be subject to dispute or ambiguity, and you accept the risk of such uncertainty.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials on Polymarket (thepolymarket.gr.com) are the property of Polymarket or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on Polymarket without express written permission.
10. Prohibited Conduct
- Using Polymarket for unlawful, fraudulent, or manipulative activities.
- Posting or transmitting false, misleading, or defamatory content.
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to Polymarket systems or smart contracts.
- Using automated scripts or bots to interact with the Platform without authorization.
- Violating the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights.
11. Termination and Suspension
- Polymarket reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, or to comply with legal obligations.
- Upon termination, your right to use Polymarket will immediately cease. You remain responsible for all obligations incurred prior to termination.
12. Disclaimers
- Polymarket is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- Polymarket does not warrant that the Platform will be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Polymarket is not responsible for losses due to smart contract bugs, blockchain failures, or user error.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Polymarket, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use Polymarket;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on Polymarket;
- Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
- Any blockchain or smart contract failures or vulnerabilities.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Polymarket, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of Polymarket, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
15. Modifications to Terms
Polymarket reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to thepolymarket.gr.com. Your continued use of Polymarket after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Polymarket will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction, at the sole discretion of Polymarket.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms and any policies referenced herein constitute the entire agreement between you and Polymarket regarding your use of thepolymarket.gr.com and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or representations.
